Carrefour is an immersive performance experience taking an audience on a journey in Crown Heights, Brooklyn through film, sound/visual installations and movement. The title is translated from French meaning “crossroads”, and the work is built from cultural references of the longtime African-American/Caribbean residents of the neighborhood, speaking on the present-day narrative of this Brooklyn community dealing with gentrification and generational shifts as it moves forward.

This project is part of The AFROFUTURISM Series from Renegade Performance Group and will be presented during "in flux", the FiveMyles performance festival organized in collaboration with the 2016 BRIC Biennial.
